Partnership The Network Mathematics Graduate Programme was a joint initiative of the Hamilton Institute at NUI Maynooth and CTVR at Trinity College Dublin.
Excellence Our aim was to provide a world-class educational experience for postgraduate research students in the area of Network Mathematics. To this end, course modules were delivered in Ireland by faculty and practitioners from leading international centres of excellence. Emphasis was be placed on the practical application of mathematical techniques to problems in networking and telecommunications
Access Our courses were open to all students in Ireland (not just those from NUIM and TCD). Attendees from industry and International students are also very welcome.
Strategic Objectives Our overall objectives included:
- Addressing skills deficits within Ireland in network mathematics linked to key technologies, and reinforcing current strengths
- Developing a co-ordinated programme of specialist modules targeted at MPhil/PhD students
- Provide a world-class international educational experience by incorporating module content delivered in Ireland by distinguished faculty from our international partners.
